What's new in Daynara

10 September 2026

Each asset now has a printable QR code sticker. Scan it with any phone camera to open that asset's details, no Daynara login needed, handy for outside vendors doing a service call. Look for the "QR label" print button on the asset's detail page.

Added Licenses & Certificates, a place to keep track of business licenses, permits, and certificates for each site or the company as a whole. Add the expiry date and Daynara flags it as expiring soon (14 days out) or urgent (5 days out) right on the list, plus a heads-up in the notification bell, so nothing lapses without warning.

Licenses & Certificates can now be printed or saved as PDF too, either the whole list or one license's full detail. Look for the Print button on the Licenses page and on each license's detail page.

Licenses & Certificates now has a field for the license/certificate/permit number, so the record on file matches the actual document.

Task photos can now be tagged Before or After when uploading, useful for maintenance work where you want to show the state before and after the job. Look for the tag toggle above the "Add photo" button.

Reports printed or saved as PDF now include photo thumbnails for any task that has them, grouped under Before/After, right under that task in the Tasks section.

On a phone, the license number and issuing authority labels on a license's detail page no longer overlap each other.

Assets can now be printed or saved as PDF, either the whole list or one asset's full detail. Look for the Print button on the Assets page and on each asset's detail page.

Checklists can now be printed or saved as PDF for a specific day, week, or month. Look for the Print button on each checklist card, on the Checklists page and in its History.

Printing a single Tasks, Attendance, or Chat log section from Reports no longer leaves the first page blank when the list is long. The list now starts right below the header, and just continues onto extra pages as needed.

Site chat can now be printed or saved as PDF for a single day at a time. Look for the Print button next to the date on the Chat page.

The staff filter on Reports now only shows staff from the selected site, instead of everyone across every site. Makes it easier to find the right person to print or export a record for when you manage many sites.

Added Asset Tracking, a register for each site's equipment, aircons, printers, and similar, with model, serial number, purchase date, warranty, and vendor. Click into any asset to see everything on file. Setting a service due date shows it as due soon or overdue right on the list, and adds a matching entry to the calendar.

Checklists can now be limited to specific sites instead of always applying company-wide, useful when different buildings run different routines.

Added a Checklist Analytics view for admins, showing how each site's daily checklists have been completing over time, with filters by site and date range.

Checklist completion dates now display correctly on every device.

Checklists and Asset Tracking are now shown as their own features on the website, not folded into Tasks.

Updated the website and dashboard FAQ to cover Checklists and Asset Tracking.

Added a Checklists module. Build a recurring daily, weekly, or monthly checklist, assign it to a role, and anyone holding that role ticks it off each period, no photo needed.

Checklist completion is now tracked per site, so each site's progress is shown separately, with a new Monitor view for admins to see every site's status at a glance.

Reports can now be printed section by section, filtered to a custom date range, or narrowed down to one staff member's attendance history.

Task search now runs when you press Enter instead of live as you type, and is now available in Kanban view as well as List view.

Staff now land on a dedicated dashboard home page when they log in.

Added a Staff By-Site view for browsing staff grouped by their site.

Clock-in now defaults to the correct site.

The notification bell now links to the correct site for admins managing multiple sites.
